Spaces
The Spaces page in Jadawel displays a list of all the spaces within the system along with their statistics. From this page, you can easily manage spaces, including adding new spaces, assigning space owners, and setting space permissions.
Adding a New Space
To add a new space, click on the “Add Space” button on the Spaces page. This will open a new space creation form that requires three steps:
- Space Name and Description: In the first step, you can specify the name and description for the new space. This helps to provide a meaningful name and description for the space, allowing users to easily understand its purpose.
- Assigning Space Owner (Optional): In the second step, you can optionally assign a space owner for the new space. The space owner will have full control and access to the space, including the ability to manage tables, columns, and rows within the space.
- Setting Space Permissions: In the third step, you can set space permissions. This allows you to specify permissions for each member, providing fine-grained control over who can perform actions within the space.
Once you have filled in the required information and set the desired space permissions, you can click on the “Create Space” button to create the new space. The new space will then be added to the list of spaces on the Spaces page, and you can start managing tables, columns, and rows within the space.
