Membership Plans

View your current plan, upgrade or downgrade, manage billing information, and track usage.

Accessing Membership Settings

Navigate to /settings/membership to view your subscription details and /settings/membership/plans to compare and change plans.

Current Plan Overview

Plan Information

View your active subscription:

  • Plan Name: Free, Professional, or Enterprise
  • Billing Cycle: Monthly or annual
  • Price: Current rate
  • Renewal Date: When next payment is due
  • Status: Active, trial, cancelled, or past due

  • Total Used: Combined storage
  • Available: Remaining capacity

Monthly Limits

  • API Calls: Current month usage
  • Form Responses: Submissions this month
  • Tasks Created: New tasks this month

Changing Your Plan

Upgrading

To move to a higher tier:

  1. Visit Plans Page

    • Go to /settings/membership/plans
    • Review plan options
  2. Select New Plan

    • Click “Upgrade” on desired plan
    • Choose billing cycle (monthly/annual)
    • Select number of users
  3. Review Changes

    • See new features
    • View pricing
    • Check prorated charges
  4. Confirm Upgrade

    • Enter payment information
    • Agree to terms
    • Complete upgrade
  5. Immediate Access

    • New features available instantly
    • Users can be added immediately
    • Billing adjusts automatically

Downgrading

To move to a lower tier:

  1. Select Lower Plan

    • Choose plan to downgrade to
    • Review feature changes
  2. Handle Excess Usage

    • Remove excess users
    • Delete data to fit storage
    • Address any incompatibilities
  3. Schedule Downgrade

    • Takes effect at next billing cycle
    • Continue using current plan until then
    • No partial refunds
  4. Confirm

    • Acknowledge feature loss
    • Complete downgrade request

Switching Billing Cycle

Change between monthly and annual:

Monthly to Annual:

  • Save up to 17%
  • Charged annually instead of monthly
  • Takes effect at next renewal
  • Requires commitment

Annual to Monthly:

  • Higher per-month cost

  • Change takes effect after annual period ends
  • Can cancel easier

Billing Management

Payment Methods

Add and manage payment options:

Credit/Debit Cards

  • Add Card: Enter card details securely
  • Set Default: Choose primary payment method
  • Remove Card: Delete saved cards
  • Update: Change expiration or billing address

Other Payment Methods

  • PayPal: Link PayPal account (if available)
  • Bank Transfer: Wire transfer for annual plans
  • Purchase Order: For enterprise customers
  • Invoicing: Custom billing for large organizations

Billing Information

Update billing details:

  • Company Name: Business name for invoices
  • Billing Address: Where invoices are sent
  • Tax ID: VAT/GST number for tax exempt
  • Billing Email: Where invoices are emailed
  • Contact Person: Billing department contact

Invoices

Access billing history:

  • View Invoices: All past invoices
  • Download PDF: Save invoice copies
  • Email Invoice: Resend to accounting
  • Payment Status: Paid, pending, failed
  • Receipt: Payment confirmation

Failed Payments

Handle payment issues:

  1. Notification

    • Email alert sent
    • In-app notification
    • Grace period begins
  2. Update Payment

    • Add new payment method
    • Or fix existing card
  3. Retry Payment

    • Automatic retry in 3 days
    • Or manually retry immediately
  4. Account Status

    • Grace period: 7 days
    • After grace: Account suspended
    • Data preserved for 30 days

  • 75% Used: Early warning
  • 90% Used: Urgent warning
  • 100% Used: No more uploads

User Limits

  • Approaching Limit: 90% of users added
  • At Limit: Cannot add more users
  • Suggested Action: Upgrade or remove users

  • Quota Warning: 80% of monthly quota used

Cancellation

How to Cancel

To end your subscription:

  1. Navigate to Settings

    • Go to /settings/membership
    • Click “Cancel Subscription”
  2. Provide Feedback

    • Tell us why (optional)
    • Helps us improve
    • May offer alternatives
  3. Understand Impact

    • Access until end of billing period
    • Data preserved for 30 days after
    • Can reactivate within 30 days
  4. Confirm Cancellation

    • Enter password to confirm
    • Receive confirmation email

After Cancellation

What happens:

  • Immediate: No new charges
  • End of Period: Features revert to free tier
  • Data Access: Read-only for 30 days
  • Deletion: After 30 days if not reactivated
  • Export: Download data before deletion

Reactivation

To resume subscription:

  1. Within 30 Days

    • Full data restoration
    • Original settings preserved
    • Resume immediately
  2. After 30 Days

    • Data may be deleted
    • Start fresh
    • Need to reconfigure
